The latest Tropical Island update from the Dig It developers has brought in a powerful new tool: the Solar Shovel. This shovel surpasses even the legendary Meteor Shovel, making it the best digging tool currently available in the game. If you want to uncover all the hidden treasures and legendary items, then adding the Solar Shovel to your inventory is a must.
How to Unlock the Solar Shovel in Dig It
The only requirement to receive the Solar Shovel is that you should go to Tropica Island and do a very simple quest. A recently introduced island in the game lies east to Piratesburg. Follow these instructions if you start from Nookville to head to Piratesburg then to turn right.
After landing, go to the center of the island where you can find the Sun Temple. On the top of this temple, there is a Shrine where you will have to leave 20 Fallen Stars in order to get the Solar Shovel.
How to Collect Fallen Stars
Fallen Stars can be obtained only during the special Falling Stars event. During this event, stars will fall from the sky and land all over the island. You have to dig them up once they hit the ground. This is a random event that happens 16% of the time, so you need to be patient. If collecting enough stars becomes a problem, you can also trade with other players to hasten the process.
Once you’ve gathered 20 Fallen Stars, head back to the Shrine, deposit them, and the Solar Shovel will descend from the sky. To claim it, you’ll need to pay D$500,000. Additionally, only players who have reached level 80 or higher can purchase this shovel.
