How to Unlock the Vigilante Title
First, go to Mushgrove Swamp at GPS: X: 2426, Y: 130, Z: -680. Go there by boat and find the Shipwright NPC along the shore. Past him, you’ll see Agaric, a mushroom-shaped NPC, sitting beneath a giant red-and-white mushroom.
Agaric’s Quest
If you speak to Agaric, he will instruct you to capture an Alligator to avenge his deceased family. The Alligator is a mythical fish and can only be found in Alligator Marsh, which is found in the back of Agaric’s.
How to Catch the Alligator
To catch the Alligator successfully, you need to fulfill the following requirements:
- Description: Big green alligator that consumes fungi creatures.
- Bait: Fish Head
- Weather: Foggy or Rainy
- Time: Night
- Season: Spring
After catching the Alligator, put it in your hand and go back to Agaric. Give it to him, and he will give you the Vigilante Title.
Rewards: Vigilante Title & Fungal Rod
As a reward, Agaric will also provide you with his family heirloom, the Fungal Rod, for helping him.
